About the Role

We are looking for a rebel Scientist to join our team. You will work closely with other members of the team to build and scale our internal molecular biology platform. You will have the opportunity to develop, scale and automate novel platform technologies. You will work closely with members of our technical team to provide feedback and derive insights from our proprietary software to further bridge technical- and wet lab operations.

This role is available at our HQ and lab facilities at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm.

Key Responsibilities

• Ideate, plan, and execute experiments at a rapid pace.

• Troubleshoot, strategize, test and iterate on new ideas derived first-principles thinking.

• Develop novel high-throughput immunoassays and other related molecular biology techniques

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including founders, biochemists, molecular biologists, data scientists, and machine learning engineers..

• Drive cutting-edge innovation and follow best practices in research.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD or equivalent experience) in Molecular Biology, Natural Sciences, or a related field.

• Extensive experience working with proteins and/or peptides in the context of molecular biology.

• Exposure to lab automation for high-throughput experimentation is a plus.

• Experience collaborating with advanced data scientists or ML practitioners is a plus.

• Effective communicator, problem solver, and collaborator with both technical and scientific teams.

• A strong ability to think from first principles whilst troubleshooting failed experiments or deriving novel ideas.

• Ability to own your work and drive outcomes in a fast-paced startup environment.
