About the Role

We are looking for a brilliant Computational Biologist to join our Molecular Modeling team. In this role, you will have a chance to work at the frontiers of AI-driven structural modeling, including next-gen protein folding and molecular simulation. Your work will involve close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, combining insights from structural biochemistry and machine learning to create real-world impact.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse set of machine learning architectures from LLMs to GNNs and beyond. Your role will be pivotal in advancing our ML capabilities, ensuring that our solutions are not only technically sound but also aligned with our strategic goals. As a key member of our team, your expertise will be crucial in navigating the fast-paced and interdisciplinary nature of our work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance state of the art machine learning models for structural modeling of large molecules.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including founders, biochemists, molecular biologists, data scientists, and fellow software developers.

  • Drive cutting-edge innovation and ensure best practices in ML development and implementation.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (PhD or equivalent experience) in Computational Biology, Natural Sciences, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in applied machine learning, prior experience with structural modeling is required.

  • A strong and up to date understanding of the space is ideal, including but not limited to an understanding of AlphaFold2, RFDiffusion, ESMFold and other recent developments.

  • Strong programming skills, preferably in Python.

  • Effective communication skills, able to work collaboratively with both technical and scientific teams.

  • Ability to own your work and drive outcomes in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment.
